The 43mm chromed metal case is fitted with a stainless steel case back and a manual wind Longines calibre 17.26, 15 jewel movement.
The dial is officially listed by Longines as "refreshed" due to the unusual font used for the numerals. However, there was some debate around this as Longines originally stated that the dial was original, but backtracked after not being able to confirm it. Either way, the dial is very attractive and looks great.
The watch was originally purchased on Dec 24th 1938 (less than a year before WWII started) by the company Zipper who were the Longines agents in Poland at the time.
The watch comes with a certificate of authenticity issued by Longines 2023.
